"A few month's ago Vena Cava announced their new line of basics, Viva Vena! Half of Manhattan (the girl half) jumped for joy at the news, even before seeing the clothes.
Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock's signature prints come on fitted tees and tiny dresses over black skirts and skinny pants in jersey and silk. If silver metallic tanks are your thing, they've got you covered. If you prefer simple white t-shirt dresses, there's that, too — spiced up with a little print of course. "
What separates Made & Crafted from Levi's Vintage?
"LV looks to the past, to recreate iconic garments from Levi’s history. Made & Crafted comes from the same origins but projects forwards. It’s a modern collection with traditional sensibilities. If you like, M&C is the yin to LV’s yang.Made & Crafted follows fundamentals of good design ... garments should be useful and long lasting. Maurizio Donadi (the VP of Levi’s XX) describes Made & Crafted as ‘non-fashion’. It’s not quick, throw away fashion, hence our attention to the materials and construction used."
